Sonic Sex Or No...

These are by far, my favorite hardcore kids from Mexico.

Enough said.

GRIZZLY NUURO'S KNIFE

HOT MID-WEEK FOR MEXICO!

Not in Guadalajara? Don't matter!

Este jueves 18 at Condesa's HQTR in Altlixco, DUNNY AZTECA serie will be presented for the first time in Mexico. There are over 40 mexican artists involved in the serie and this same party will also take place in other American-based Kid Robot and HQTR stores at the same time!

Also, after the DUNNY AZTECA serie cocktail, we're gonna go take photos of Maniqui Lazer at Terraza del Centro Cultural España.

These sexy looking norteño-hardcore kids sure know how to turn young and adult kids on!! TRUST ME.

YOU ARE THE PRIDE OF YOUR STREET

Not long ago, at some dumbshit blog I wont even link, I read the most awful sort of insults directed to the scene I belong to.

At first I didn't know if it was meant to be funny or hurtful to some specific friends of mine, either way I laughed, but it was around 2005, and well I was on my own shit, kinda arrogant too. But that's not the point yo, what that stupid blog said was mostly crap about our movement and our music, and gave absolutely no credit to whatever media had raved our friends so far back then. It even called us liars.

I always thought it was just some jealous ignorant poseur ('cause his Spanish wasn't really good either) talking shit about some of us, but well, just for this once (again! the first time I showed you pictures of us getting high with some Mexican celebrities), here you go buddy... So you won't be able to keep on doubting about the things we DO and you simply DON'T, culturoso.

Alright, back to the original post; his name is Ángel Sanchez, and not only has he had one record released, but quite a few already. But just because I know you and your buddies only read Pitchforkmedia, here's a little review for you:

8.6 BABY! By your favorite webzine... IN YOUR FUCKING FACE!

What Would Lucy Say!?

This is what happens when you mix bad tequila with sweet Coronas.
Kids, for the love of god, DO THIS AT HOME! :)

Meet Soundsister

Oh this record label is becoming so popular nowdays, we just can't stop reading the unusual globalized comments at their Myspace page.

Just in case you think we're exagerating, it's not useless to say, that their roster has been invited to play around the world among artists like Dj Spooky, Vladislav Delay, Errase Errata, Yo La Tengo, XBXRX, Lucien N' Luciano, Vitaminsforyou, Isolée, Matthew Dear, Lusine, Sickboy, Casiotone for the Painfully Alone, Monolake, Mikael Stavostrand, Xiu Xiu, Montag and Rechenzentrum. And just so you missed it, their two releases have been raved by respected magaziness like Germany's De:bug; the dutch Gonzo Circus and Vital Weekly; spanish Rockdelux, Go and Neo2; USA's Stylus; the chilenian Loop, and argentinan Zona de Obras.

Actually, their next release is Maniqui Lazer's, the first ever mexican hardcore band produced by one of Mexico's micro-house top-notch producers: Fax. And that's not all, these kids are so good live, they've been driving "uncommon" mexican mainstream celebs crazy at their gigs as well.

Yeah, so if Julieta Venegas, Natalia Lafourcade, Las Ultrasónicas, and Reik, can love'em like the grindcore scene already does, you'll probably like them too. Unless you're one of those angry (overground) snobs.

There's also a bunch of cute photographs taken by TTSO collaborators at their new "photos" section!
